SAE short film ‘Billy the Bomber’ won an Award of Merit at the 2017 Best Shorts Competition. Written and Directed by Leal Butler, almost the whole of FMD117 was involved in acting and crewing the one-minute short, which was filmed earlier this year.

The Californian Best Shorts Competition is the sister festival to IndieFEST and The Accolade Global Film Festival. Congratulations Leal Butler and the whole class of FMD117!

The film’s logline is: An aspiring terrorist proves incompetent at the task.
