SAE’s Claire Duncan Sound Designer For An Exhibition In London

1 Mar 2018

Our clever campus administrator, Claire Duncan recently finished the sound design/composition for Sriwhana Spong's new show at the Pumphouse Gallery in London. The show is called a hook but no fish and features a 25minute film Claire scored as the centre of the exhibit.

The film explores the Lingua Ignota, a language invented by twelfth century mystic Hildegard von Bingen during her 39 years at Disibodenberg monastery, Germany.

Claire has been involved in sound design for Silo Theatre and Last Tapes in Auckland, as well as multiple art, film and commercial video works. She has contributed as a musician, producer, performer or videographer in a variety of creative projects from i.e crazy to Land of the Long White Stain.

Showing at the Pump House gallery in London till 1st April 2018, the show will be travelling to New Zealand later in the year. Read a review for the show and find out more here: http://www.studiointernational.com/index.php/sriwhana-spong-a-hook-but-no-fish-review
